TG Daily – TG Video: Electric motorcycle inventor crashes at Wired NextFest (2)

* Busby: Did someone already said that your blog is cool and very interesting to read? You are intelligent in writing this good article about motorcycle!

What a warm comment to post to RTFA, Busby! Thanks for the genuine… WAIT. Did you just say, “You are intelligent in writing this good article about motorcycle!”

I know what’s going on here: the worst kind of spam! This is just the Busby SEO Test, isn’t it?

Indeed, RTFA is getting comment spam about the Busby SEO Test – this time from 124.106.146.122 (possibly a forged IP, so take this with a grain of salt). The link they want to boost is pinayspeak,com/pinaytest/

The company sponsoring this spam-fest is Busby Web Solutions:

BUSBY is proud to invite SEO specialists, guru’s, masters and hot shots to compete over a 4 month period to gain the highest position they can achieve on Google (USA Google Data Center – http://72.14.207.99)
Summary
Set up your own website and optimise it for the key phrase we announce on the start date. Prizes will be awarded to the contenstants whose site is ranked 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th on the finish date on Google (USA Google Data Center – http://72.14.207.99).

The phrase this year (no surprise here) is “Busby SEO Test.” Why must you make the Internet cry?

  • just make a good contest and you're done. no need spamming anybody else. :
  • Busby SEO Test!!!
i join that contest, but never spamming yours. anyway, is my comment considered as a spam? lol :D
  • farkinga
hmmm... tricky question. I'd venture that it's not automated comment spam... but it's clearly motivated by the desire to promote your site... so if you didn't have any hope of winning the busby seo test, would you still have commented? I guess my answer depends on your answer to that question...
  • Of course I have a willingness to win the contest, that's why I am looking for supporting backlinks through blog comments. However, I always try to do it manually and not using mass comment bot like what other participant did. More over, I always try to stay on topic too when I make any comments. So that am I wrong? :D
  • fumf
not wrong, but not exactly right either, aye? to the horrid lust pit!
  • farkinga
I've instituted a new voting process for this, whereby a 66.6%
majority will get the comment thrown into the horrid lust pit. I'll
follow up on this post just as soon as the vote is live!
  • fumf
is it considered spam to spam yourself? to the horrid lust pit with me
  • fumf
err what I meant to say was rtfa.net is number 1 in google for horrid lust pit... yay for google bombs
  • fumf
speaking of "horrid lust pit" and SEO, horrid lust pit is the number 1 hit in google... sweeeeet
  • fumf
